Kitsch in Sync, Make Music Day 2017 - London Bridge Station
Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 800 cities in 120 countries.
Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours into public spaces; from town squares to libraries, bandstands and school halls to arts centres and railways stations, to share their music with friends, neighbours, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.
This year, Make Music Day UK will be coming to London in a much bigger way than ever before and there is an open call for venues and participants.
In particular, Make Music Day UK is looking for London Bridge venues to participate and host a performance. They do the hard work and find you a great artist, all you have to do is enjoy the show!
